Amelia Lost, by Candace Fleming

I have a new favorite biography! I read Amelia Lost in one day this past weekend while enjoying the sunshine. 🙂 Amelia Earhart was an incredible person, and this is an incredible book.

Take a peek at the cover:

Doesn’t Amelia look dashing? She was very courageous, and, at a time in history when women were not allowed to do everything men did, she was a role model for women.  Unfortunately, Amelia Earhart disappeared while flying around the globe at the equator, and this book follows that story as well as the story of her life. People from all over the United States randomly picked up her radio signals for help after she was out of contact, and no one was ever able to find her, her navigator, or her plane.

If you are looking for a really exciting biography, this is a great choice. You won’t be able to put it down! 🙂
